We have the pleasure of welcoming Brienne Glyttov, PhD, back to Långberget!

Brienne Glyttov is a Yoga Acharya who has studied and practiced the ancient science of yoga for over 40 years. She has taught yoga and Reiki as well as held hypnosis seminars and related workshops in California, Hawaii, France, Sweden, and India. Although she has familiarized herself with most styles of yoga- including Iyengar, Bikram, Shinto, and Power Yoga - she primarily follows the style taught by the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Organization, from which she received her TTC (Teacher´s Training), ATTC (Advanced Teacher´s Training), and Sadhana Intensive. In addition to being a yoga teacher, Brienne is also a certified Reiki Master and NLP master, and holds a PhD in Hypnotherapy,

August 4 th, 2010 Yoga Trial Class and Hypnosis/NLP Seminar.

Yoga trial Class: 2.00- 4.00 pm. Price 100 SEK (children 50 SEK). We will go through the 12 basic yoga asanas (a scientifically balanced set of steady yoga postures), which include the most important positions within Raja yoga. We will explain the benefits of each position. The class will include a short meditation and we will end the class with a deep relaxation. This class is suited for everyone over 12 yeas of age and it makes no difference if you have never tried yoga before. (Please do not eat 1 1/2 hours before the class.)

Hypnosis/NLP Seminar: 7.00- 9.30 pm. Price 100 SEK. Come find out what hypnosis and NLP really are. Hypnosis and NLP go hand in hand. You (unknowingly) use it every day, anyway, so you might as well learn to use your incredible power for your own good. It is an incredibly interesting subject and should not be thought of as "hocus pocus". Everyone 18 years of age or older is welcome to attend. Please eat before the seminar.

 August 5 th- August 8 th, 2010 Yoga Retreat

Price: 2985 SEK. This includes 3 nights accommodation in a sportsroom *, all meals, and all classes and seminars/workshops as per the schedule below. * "Sportsroom" means that you might share a room with one other person and that you bring linens and that you clean the room before you depart. You can rent linens for a modest fee and if you prefer a single room there is an extra fee of 150 SEK per night. Final cleaning fee of 375 SEK.

8:00- 9:30 Introduction to Meditation, Yoga Nidra (for optimum relaxation and restful sleep) 

Friday, August 6 th

6:30- 8:30 am Meditative silent hike, Meditation, Pranayama (breathing exercises)

8:30- 9:30 Light breakfast

10:00- 12:00 Sun Salutations (warm- up), Mind and Body Balancing exercises

12:00- 2:00 pm Lunch

2:00- 3:30 Workshop: Learn How to Reduce Stress through Energy, Pranayama, and Realxation

4:00- 6:00 Yoga Asanas

6:00- 8:00 Dinner

8:00- 9:30 Meditation, Yoga Nidra

Saturday, August 7 th

6:30- 8:30 am Meditation, Pranayama, Sun Salutations

8:30- 9:30 Light breakfast

10:00- 12:00 Meditation, Mind and Body Balancing Exercises (outdoors if weather permits)

The above schedule for this 3 1/2 - day yoga retreat is quite intensive. The workshops are included but optional; however, it is recommended that you try to attend since we do cover interesting and important points.

Information for all yoga students: We will be outdoors when the weather is appropriate. Don´t worry if you have never practiced yoga before. It makes no difference whether you are a yoga novice or an advanced yoga practitioner, you will still benefit from these wonderful, relaxing, strengthening yoga/meditation classes. Everyone does yoga at his/her own level and there is never any competition. Please don´t eat within 1 1/2 hours before yoga. You need to wear comfortable clothing you can easily move in, such as a t- shirt and jogging pants or tights. If you have yoga mat bring it, but if not you can bring a blanket.

Thursday: Guided Beaver safari 6,30 pm.

Friday: Guided Moose safari 6,30 pm

Saturday: Fondue evening in the big tentipitent  7.30 pm. Fully booked August 21.

Sunday: Motti and pork/ kolbulle evening at Branäsäng 6,30 pm
